How Isis Discovered Ra's Secret Name

Isis found Ra sleeping, she collected the salvia coming from his mouth as he slept and mixed it with earth to form a serpent placing it in Ra's way he walked every day. When Ra awoke the next morning he went walking an got bit by the snake. None of the other gods could heal the bite except for Isis. She told him that the only way she would cure him was if he told her his secret name. As the pain became unbearable for Ra he finally caved in and told Isis. She then gained in her powers from the learning of his secret name. That is why Isis is known for her skill in the magical arts.
